What is ChurchSuite?
ChurchSuite is an online system that has two parts:
ChurchSuite: our church's database & admin system
My ChurchSuite: each church member's own access point to that system

My ChurchSuite
My ChurchSuite is a secure system that is for members of St John's to use; to help you keep your details up-to-date and to help you access and engage with the life and activity of what's going on at St John's.
As a member you will:
be able to control the data that St John's holds on you (GDPR)
determine how you wish to be contacted
enable you to share selected personal details with other members of St John's e.g. like the old directory
have access to all the news and updates of St John's at your fingertips
book upcoming events that require sign-up
keep a track of your regular giving and donate easily
if you are a parent you will be able to add, edit and update information about your children for Junior Church
see what rotas you are on a swap easily
manage your availability for rotas
see others in your groups
How do I get Access?
Access is granted by invitation; again St John's is protecting your details and who has access to it.
STEP 1: Invitation
It's a process that begins with St John's sending you an email invitation; so it's important we have your correct email address!
Please contact the office if you think we may have the wrong one.
STEP 2: Set your Password
That invitation email contains a unique login-link that is used to access My ChurchSuite for the first time and to set your password. Those without an email address will not be able to access My ChurchSuite.
If you share an email address with a partner you'll each receive separate personalised email invitations – be sure to click the link in your email and make sure that you set a different password to your partner; otherwise the system won't know who is logging in!
STEP 3: Update your details
Once logged in, navigate to 'My Details' to ensure that we have the right details on file for you and to set your communication preferences.
Logging in to My ChurchSuite
You can access My ChurchSuite from either a web browser on a computer/tablet/smartphone or via the ChurchSuite App on a smart phone/tablet.
Navigate to the log in page
Enter in ‘St John’s Church, Woodley’ and select when it appears
Click on ‘Next’
Enter in your user name, which is your email address
Enter in the password you have created (you will require an invitation email from St John’s - email us if you have not received this)
Click on ‘Log in’
Help, I have forgotten my password?
If you have forgotten your password, all is not lost! Just follow these steps to reset it:
Go to the login page
Click the link at the bottom called ‘Help! I’ve forgotten my password’
Enter in the email address you registered with
Then click on ‘Send Password Reset’
You will shortly receive an email with a link to reset your password. If you do not receive this email, please check your spam folder first and then contact the office if you continue to face issues.
FAQs
What data do you hold?
We take our responsibility around data protection and security very seriously which is one of the reasons for partnering with ChurchSuite. Data that we hold on you is for the purpose of ministering within St John's and all data is controlled by you through My ChurchSuite. For more information please refer to our Privacy Policy.
How do you/will you use our data?
We will use ChurchSuite to keep people connected and informed by texting and emailing members. You can manage your own communication preferences to determine how you receive these. Note: amending your communication preferences will affect all communication sent via ChurchSuite – this includes general Weekly news, rota reminders, notifications from groups. Think carefully before changing this! For more information please refer to our Privacy Policy.
My ChurchSuite and Under 18s
My ChurchSuite is only currently available for adult contacts in St John's. However, you will be able to add details of your children under your account. This will enable St John's to keep vital information about your children with regards to Safeguarding, medical conditions such as allergies and attendance within groups.
I volunteer at St John’s - How will My ChurchSuite help me?
If you support St John's by being a part of our Welcoming Team, Refreshment Team or any other team, My ChurchSuite will help you see when you are serving, allow you to add your unavailability, and make a swap easily.
I am a Group Leader - How will ChurchSuite help me?
If you are are leader ChurchSuite will enable you to manage rotas, track attendance, email the group or individuals within the group.
I am part of a Group - how will My ChurchSuite help me?
If you are part of a group at St John's, My ChurchSuite will help you see meeting dates, keep you up-to-date with any changes and see who else is in the group.
Help! I don’t have access to a computer/phone!
If you, or someone you know, does not have regular access to a computer, tablet or smartphone, please contact the church office. We will endeavour to help you access any information you need. There will also be access to ChurchSuite on a Sunday at Church.
