We are one of the three Anglican churches in Woodley, Berkshire, with the vision to share the Life and Love of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

He is the centre of our worship and service.

The Church is open all year round during daylight hours for personal reflection and prayer (and during snow!)


Lent Course - starting 25th February

This year, all the churches in Woodley will study the course "Exploring the Beatitudes", prepared by the Diocesan Bishop Steven Croft.
The studies will take place on Sunday evenings at 6.30pm. All are welcome.
4th March - St. John Bosco;

1st April - Easter Sunday: Special Breakfast at 8.30am
1st April - Easter Sunday: Holy Communion at 10am
1st April - Easter Sunday: Holy Baptism at 12pm

Easter Sunday Communion

This year, from 8.30am St. John's will be hosting an Easter Breakfast followed by a united Easter Communion Service at 10am.

Weddings, Baptisms & Funerals

Life has many celebratory moments, be that a union of marriage between families or a baptism celebrating a new life or welcoming you or a loved one to the Christian faith.  St. John's will support you and your family on your journey.

Getting Involved

Small groups meet to discover more about the Christian faith and to socialise on a regular basis.  We offer a variety of groups for parents, mothers, ladies only, youths and children.  You are welcome to join any of them.
