Minister - Vacancy

Children and Families Worker
Dawn Nicholls

Dawn joined St John's in September 2021 as the Children’s and Families’ Worker.

Dawn is originally from Australia where she had many years of experience working with children through churches, kid's clubs, and beach missions. It was training and working as a missionary with YWAM that originally brought Dawn to the UK and marrying a local that kept her here!

In more recent years, she has worked at a local school, been a Families' Worker, and taught English as a foreign language.

Our Vision & Values

St John’s, as part of the Diocese of Oxford’s vision, is seeking to be a more Christ-like Church: contemplative, compassionate and courageous for the sake of God’s world.

Our world is changing in new and unprecedented ways; we want to think afresh about inequality, our communities, and what it means to be human. We need to be the best Church we can be in such a time as this: a more Christ-like Church for the sake of God’s world.
