9-11 Remembered

This Saturday marks 20 years since the terror attacks in the US, on September 11th 2001. We pause to remember such a paradigm shifting moment, with a reflection from one of our congregation members, Cedric Lander, who was in the US when the attacks took place. We will observe a minute’s silence during our Sunday service. Please keep all those who were affected on the day, and in the 20 years since, in your prayers, as well as the current situation in Afghanistan. Lord, have mercy.

In Memoriam June 2021

The week leading up to Sunday 6th June 2021 we hosted our “In Memoriam” event, with the church open for private prayer and reflection, and on the Sunday there was time to remember those from our congregation that had died over the past year. Grief is complex at this time of pandemic, and part of what we can offer from the resources of our faith is the holding of a safe space for our communities to lament, grieve and then eventually heal.

In memory of Maria, Della, Dennis, Colm, Kathleen, Elizabeth, John, Peter, Derek, Gloria, Valerie, Brian and Richard - members of our community who have passed away in the last year.
